The Power of a Flower

Spring has sprung and with it, event season! We’ve been SO busy with client events we’ve had little time to keep our blog chugging along. Never mind that, here’s some pretty pictures to distract you…well at least for a little while.

When it comes to events, the devil really IS in the details – invitations, signage, food, bev, A/V, linens, music, photography, gift bags…so much to think about and get right. But in our opinion, there’s nothing quite like the beauty of a bloom to make your event pop. Flowers tie your theme and decor together and take your event from so-so to special. When working on an event we’re always excited when the florist arrives with the delivery. The event space is transformed immediately and the client is always surprised by the impact the flowers bring to the venue.

PLUS: Research shows flowers have an immediate impact on happiness, positively influence the mood of your guests and increase interaction. Important for your next event? We think so.

I was at one of your recent events and the flower centrepieces were stunning. You’re right — flowers really do have an impact. I was tempted to run off with a bouquet at the end of the night. But, being the consummate professional I am, I would never do such a thing. Though I did abscond with a basil plant. 😉

I love, love, love the flowers you ordered for our event – the gorgeous pink peonies above! They truly made the space look welcoming and fresh and they added that perfect touch to the minimal decor.

Thanks Trina! It was a pleasure working with you. Peonies are one of our favourite flowers to use at events – they bloom beautifully throughout the course of the evening.
